The works were very involved as a significant percentage of the planned housing for demolition were still occupied. Our team strictly adhered to our community liaison plan to effectively manage the interface with local residence to ensure the works was caused minimal disturbance.

Our team’s wellbeing and safety is paramount to our business. We identified a risk of exposure of falling objects, prior to commencing the works we ensured all demolition machines were fitted with demolition protection, in addition to rotating hitches and finger grabs.  This initiative eliminated the requirement for labourers on the ground to assist in demolition.  A further engineered solution included a truck mounted water cannon to eliminate the risk of potential dust exposure to our labourer on the ground, managing dust control for the demolition and loading out activities.
